Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Whitmore Street, Birmingham.

TOOLS made by this company are mostly of the low-cost type and can quite often be overlooked because they are cheap. For brake servicing a one-man-operated bleeding outfit for hydraulic brakes is produced. This comprises a spring-loaded syringe-type pump, a set of adaptors and a flexible' hose.

The syringe is charged by immersing the end of the tube in a can of fluid and drawing back the plunger handle. By turning the handle through half a turn it is locked in the extended position. The appropriate adaptor is fitted to the filler orifice and the flex coupled to the adaptor. A half-turn on the plunger handle will release the spring pressure and the whole system is pressurized and ready for bleeding.

The rest of the brake servicing tools supplied by Pickavant are for use in flaring and bending brake pipes of from 3,116in. up to 5/8in. outside diameter. The flaring units are made up of sets of collets and punches which are brought together in high compression by a heavy-section screw.

Accurate flaring of tube ends takes only a few seconds and will provide leak free joints with both the single-and dual-flaring commonly found on braking systems. The bending tool is of the familiar pattern having two sets of wheels with their peripheries radiused.
