COLLOWING representations to the I Board of Trade about the effect of hire-purchase restrictions on the purchase of coaches for the tourist industry,. the Board is now prepared to consider issuing licences to permit new hire-purchase agreements for coaches to be used for tours.

ASCHEME for the prohibition of parking between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. in many of the narrow streets in the centre of York is to be submitted by York City Council to the Minister of Transport for . confirmation. In the streets affected, loading and unloading of vehicles will be permitted, as will the parking of building-construction or service vehicles.
