WARRINGTON CORPORATION has discontinued its Sankey Bridge!.; tramcar service, which Was yesterday replaced by a bus service. Owing to the heavy traffic conditions in the town, the number of seats in the buses has been reduced from 54 to 48. Twelve new buses are being employed. of which six are Crossley Mancunians and six are Leylands, all with Metropolitan Carnmell bodies.

Another 12 buses will be required to complete the change-over from trams, which is expected to come into operation in June.
