Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A portable spot welding gun of the resistance type that is designed for work on commercial vehicles has been announced by ARO Machinery Ltd. It is known as the N179 and its high-rated transformer gives it 50 per cent more power than models in the range designed for work on cars. The gun is particularly suitable for work requiring longer electrode arms and on thicker sheets of material. Of the two-pincer type, the gun has a new feature that enables the distance between the arms quickly to be increased with one hand. It is claimed that good welds can be made to material that is slightly rusty, dirty or scaly, Made by: ARO Machinery Co Ltd, 190 Castelnau, London SW13.
