ABODY designed to the requirements of Nottingham City Transport, and mounted on a Leyland Attantean chassis, will be one of the exhibits on the stand of the Northern Counties Motor and Engineering Co. Ltd_ at the Commercial Motor Show. Curved windscreens have been incorporated into the specialty shaped glass-fibre front, so as to reduce light reflection. Alongside the Atlantean will be a 67-seat, low-height body on an A.E.C. Renown chassis, built to an overall length of 28 ft. to the specification of the Western Welsh Omnibus Co. Ltd.
Also inside Earls Court will be a 73-seater double-decker on a Guy Arab V chassis, the vehicle having an unladen overall height of 14 ft. 3 in. The forwardentrance body. built to the requirements of the Lancashire United Transport Ltd., incorporates the standard Northern Counties framework. One of the special short Daimler Fleetlines for Walsall Corporation will be on display in the demonstration park. Although only 27 ft. 6 in. long, the body seats 70 passengers.
