He will represent C licence holders and succeeds Ma. W. A. WINSON, who recently relinquished his T.R.T.A. activities.

OBITUARY

WE regret to announce the deaths of SIR WILLIAM WOOD and MR. ALEXANDER STEWARr WATr.

Sir William, who was 76, was chief of the L.M.S. Railway from 1941 until 1947, when he became a member of the British Transport Commission. He retired in 1953. He was president of the Institute of Transport in 1943.

Mr. Watt, who was 38, was a director of the Harper Motor Co.. Ltd., Aberdeen.
