Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MO fewer than 35 standardized bodies, some of them avail able in several varying forms, are listed in this year's detailed survey of coach bodywork available to the British operator. Added interest is given by the fact that some of the bodies included are announced for the first time today.

As before, the types of bodywork available are divided into five groups, covering a range of seating capacities from 14 to 52, to facilitate comparison of models in a similar class. But it should be borne in mind that specifications vary and it is advisable to obtain fuller information than can be included here before making a choice between one model and another, IVIost makers have a long list of options, and some can build to operators' specific requirements.

The prices quoted are those of bodywork only, usually for a standard body without extras. Some chassis prices are available only " on application ", there being so many variants available, but most of the underfloor-engined chassis have prices from around £2,500 to just over £3,000. Chassis prices of Bedford models are: VAS (diesel), £1,045. petrol, £860; SB3 (petrol), £1,035; SB5 (diesel), £1,165; SB (Leyland diesel), £1,465; VAL. £L820. Thames Trader p.s.v. 17-ft. 10-in.-wheelbase chassis prices are: £1,040 (petrol) and £1,170 (diesel)..while the new Thames 36 chassis costs £1,500 (petrol) and £1,620 (diesel). The Cornrner Avenger chassis costs £1,580 and the Karrier BFK 3023 (petrol) is £578, the 1REKD 3023 (diesel) being £699.
