BECAUSE suitable land and sufficient labour, are not likely to be available at Chapel-en-le-Frith to meet long-term plans for expansion, a new plant is to he erected by Ferodo, Ltd., seven miles from ,Bangor on the edge of the Menai Strait. The project, which involves the purchase of a 50-acre site, has been approved by the Board of Trade, and the development of the land for industrial purposes has been agreed under the Town and Country Planning Regulations.

A spokesman for the company said that it was hoped that production would start in about two years' time. The first stage is to be the building of the factory covering 240,000 sq. ft., with service and canteen block attached.
