THE railways and W. Alexander and I.Sorts, Ltd., strongly opposed an application to the Scottish Deputy Licensing Authority by Aberfeldy Motor Coaches, Ltd., to reduce from 5s. 6d. to 4s. 6d. their fare for tours from Aberfeldy to Perth.
Mr. W. W. Walker, town clerk of Aberfeldy, suggested that the reduction would make "quite a difference" to the number of apprentices travelling to football matches.
The Authority granted a reduction of 6d.
