CROSVILLE has specially adapted a Bristol RE single-deck bus to cater specifically for wheelchair-bound passengers. The bus, which is claimed to be the first psv adapted with a wheelchair lift, was converted at the Crosville central works by company staff with co-operation from the Department of Transport.
The wheelchair lift, which is at the rear of the bus, uses part of a fork lift truck.
