At Willesden Council's General Purposes Committee the engineer read a letter from Studebaker, Ltd., asking for permission to fix a kerbside petrol pump in Pound Lane in connection with the petrol storage system they are installing in their works. The committee recommends that such request be not complied with, hut that it be suggested to the applicants that such petrol pump should be fixed in the forecourt of their premises.
