• The economic climate is likely to have a "disadvantageous effect" on Hunter Distribution's activities during the company's secondhalf trading, warns Nicholas Saphir, chairman of parent company Hunter Saphir. In the 28 weeks to 9 September, the group's pre-tax profits rose 10% to £2.32 million on turnover down 20% to £72.93 million.
