Cook has a doctorate in physics, a certified diploma in accountancy and finance, is a chartered mechanical engineer and a member of the Engineering Science Board of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
Microsystem employs 150 people and is one of the largest subsidiaries of the Microsystems Group.
