ALL aspects of the carriage of fruit, flowers and vegetables from the • county by road and rail will be examined by a county transport committee, the horticultural executive committee of the Cambs Farmers' Union unanimously decided at the January meeting.
The new committee will be assisted in their inquiries by 10 local branch committees, who have been asked to set up transport sub-committees to examine in detail the cost and working of all forms of transport in their districts.
