LONDONERS should learn next week whether 38-tonners are to be banned from the capital's roads.
The Greater London Council's transport committee will hear next week if council officers consider it feasible to meet committee chair Dave Wetzel's wish to ban heavier vehicles from London.
"It is our aim that these intimidating monsters of the road should not be allowed into London and we will take every action to prevent the nightmare occurring," Mr Wetzel said this week.
