Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Amongst recent bus-service developments in South Wales is the founding of a new inter-county service between Carmarthenshire and Cardiganshire by Mr. D. J. Davies, of Frongelyn, Silian (Cardiganshire), whose buses will ply for hire on the Lampeter-Aberystwyth route.

There has been a change in ownership of the services running between Carmarthen-Whitland-Narbeth. Formerly operated by Messrs. Ben Davies, the services have been acquired by Messrs. W. Edwards and Son, Towy Garage, Carmarthen, who intend to put into commission new vehicles, the delivery of which was arranged at the recent Scottish Show. Messrs. Edwards and Son also intend to inaugurate new services in Carmarthen. shire and Pembrokeshire.

Ulster County Couneils and Control of Buses.

The following resolution has been passed by the Ulster Association ofCounty Councils:—" This Association approves of the decision of the Government to regulate and control heavy motorbus traffic throughout the province as, in our opinion, the unrestricted traffic of these buses contributes to a great extent to the rapid deterioration of the roads and, whilst not in favour of the creation of any monopoly, we request the Minister of Home Affairs, before withdrawing any licence or refusing or granting any new licences, to ascertain 'the Opinion of the county council or councils responsible for the roads over 'which the bus traffic

is intended to operate."
