rose 1.7% between 2003 and 2004 to 8.2bn vehiclekilometres (bvk): light vans led the way with growth of 5.1%. In its report Road Traffic in Great Britain 2004, the Department for Transport reveals overall goods vehicle traffic jumped 3.1% during the period.
