Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A SIMPLY OPERATED manual version of the Samson Easysheet — a device for quick sheeting of tipper bodies-is being produced by George Neville Truck Equipment Ltd, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Notts. Sheeting, it is claimed, takes as little as 20sec and the device adds about 153kg (3361b) to unladen vehicle weight.

A prototype powered version, was first shown at Earls Court. However, in final production form the sheet is swung over the body by turning a handle at the bottom front corner of the body.

The basic mechanics of the device are unaltered: the sheet is supported by a light, folding framework with folding arms at each end which slide in guides. As the handle is turned it rotates, via a reduction gearbox, a shaft which runs the length of one side of the body. This shaft shifts the swinging arms which spread the tarpaulin over the body.

All working components are covered by the closed sheet but are outside the load area. The pvc-polyester tarpaulin is replaced by unlacing one side and sliding it from a groove along one side of the body.
