TWO orders, each valued at about £250,000, for oil engines for goods and passenger vehicles have been received from Argentina by F. Perkins, Ltd., Peterborough.

One is from Empresa Nacional de Transportes, the State-owned bus company in Buenos Aires, for engines for installation in Chevrolet vehicles. The company already have 394 Bedfords With PerkiNengines and 138 Chevrolet vehicles with Perkins power units. Further orders are expected.
