Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

III by Bill Godwin

TLS Logistics of Munich is about to introduce an innovative moving-floor system which is designed to move loaded pallets sideways between vehicles for optimum load access and weight distribution.

The TLS "crossflow" system includes electrically powered, chain operated conveyors for fore-and-aft movement, with a series of powered rollers for sideways movement. The design raises deck height by 205mm, and can deal with single pallet loads of up to 1,200kg at a speed of up to 0.3m/sec. The sideways movement uses a telescoping "bridge' to cover distances between vehicles of up to 500mm, and variations in deck height. The TLS crossflow system is modular, and components are available for fixed docks as well as vehicles.

The TLS system will be shown at the Transport Logistic show In Munich from 15-19 May; see vrww.transportlogIstic.de/.
