UHL STANDARD A British Standard for dislying transit information on pods packaging labels is to be [blished next month.

It comes as a result of a oposal submitted to the Dertment of Trade and Indus' by the British Materials indling Board. Its aim is to andardise the information on insit labels to help carriers. The new Standard, BS 20, advises a format for >els that includes the name the consignor, identification the consignment, destinain address, sorting/delivery 'ormation and serial number the package.
