Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

5unblestis bakery subsidiary Porkers is understood to have agreed a pay increase of between 2.4% and 3.2% for 56 drivers based at its Bristol depot.

The company employs 15 van salesmen, 35 direct drop drivers and six intercompany trunking drivers at Bristol with different rates for each group.

Direct delivery drivers, who deliver to regional dis tribution centres, get a 2.4% increase on their guaranteed 59-hour week. Trunking drivers of 38-tanners also get 2.4%.

Van salesmen work a nominal 39-hour week with overtime built in to their commission on top of their basic rates. They have also been awarded 2.4%, but with overtime this is worth 3.2%, says the United Road Transport Union which negotiated the deal.
