Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

D. M. CLARKSON, of Skirling and Biggar, is a haulage contractor who is always prepared to try something new. Two years ago he modified a tank unit for milk collection, and so successful Was he that an extension of the scheme has taken place.

In March, 1964, Mr. Clarkson began operating the first post-war baffled milk container in Scotland. The unit was a Bedford 7-ton chassis fitted with an 1.800-gal. tank. The baffling was considered to be a safety factor which reduced the effect of surge.

Two years later the Scottish Milk Marketing Board requested . a further tanker from D. M. Clarkson and stepped up the capacity to 2,200 gals. The 14-ton gross chassis was. in this case, unsuitable and a Bedford KGH 193-in, wheelbase chassis was used. To eliminate the need for alkaline batteries and an alternator a 24V. system is used. The pump is hydraulically driven and is used for both filling and discharging the tank.
