Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Prostitutes touting for work at a Staffordshire truckstop face a police crackdown as they attempt to cut soaring theft figures at the site.

The Night Owl truckstop on the A460 at Featherstone attracts up to 70 trucks each night and drivers are complaining of an increased amount of personal theft.

DC Dave Cutler of Watling Street police station says: "This has been an on-going problem for a number of months now and we are increasing patrols to combat it. "Prostitutes are stealing property from trucks and wallets and credit cards have been taken by girls invited into the trucks, or uninvited.

"They are using various means to access the trucks and we are warning truck drivers to been their guard following a spate of thefts."

Staffordshire councillor Moira Alden-court says she has seen car loads of prostitutes being transported to the truckstop. This area is being turned into a red-light district with truck drivers the targets," she says.
