• West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive has placed an order with MetroCamrnell Weymann Ltd for 150 double-deck bus bodies for delivery during 1972/3/4. The buses-10m two-door vehicles on Daimler Fleetline chassis—will follow 100 similar buses already on order for delivery next year.
Other important orders recently received by MCW include 50 10m two-door doubledeckers, also on Daimler Fleetline chassis, for Merseyside PTE; and 9.5m one-door double-deckers for the National Bus Company (50-Leyland Atlantean chassis), and Cardiff City Transport (35-Daimler Fleetline chassis).
