• Plaxton Coach & Bus ended 1991 with a batch of new orders, worth around £5m, for a mixture of Pointers, Excaliburs and Paramounts.

London Buses has ordered a further 40 8.5m Pointer bodies on Dennis Darts taking the total number ordered last year to 77. In addition, Brighton Borough ordered seven 9.8m Dart Pointers last month. Bus sales director David Quainton says a total of 220 Pointer units have been sold since the launch in January 1991.
