THE LONG-AWAITED Gove ment statement on Welsh roe policy has been published Secretary of State for Wales cholas Edwards.
Main priority is the A55 No Wales trunk road, including 1 £250m Colcon project, and 1 proposed tunnel under t Conwy estuary.
The Government plans to st 19 major schemes by 1983, w a reserve scheme to be start where resources permit. A p paration pool of 22 schemes is hand for starting between 19 and 1987, with another further behind.
