Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Glasgow Corporation is extending oneman operation as from January 19 on certain routes, in agreement with the TGWU. Two Pollok routes have been operated partially on these lines and are going entirely over to one-man operation from that date. It is planned to have 100 one-man buses in use by the end of 1969.

Glasgow will pay 25 per cent extra on basic pay, with adjustments to cover the conditions involved. The union is seeking parity with Manchester's one-man rates. .

Glasgow has also agreed to extend the radio-control system which has been used experimentally on 14 buses.
