• The impact of quality licensing on transport management will be examined in a one-day seminar to be held by Davies and Robson at the Charing Cross Hotel, London, on February 5 this year. The three speakers will be Mr. J. A. Fletcher, national secretary of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers; Mr. G. F. A. Wilmot, senior lecturer in transport studies at London University and one of CM's regular contributors: and Mr. P. W. Reed, economics lecturer at Reading University and part:time lecturer in transport studies at the University of London.
Other seminars planned for this year cover the transport of liquids and gases (March 5); costing, fleet utilization (April 30); the National Freight Corporation (May 211; and the selection of modes and carriers (June 181.
