ATHREE-DAY residential course for removal operatives is being held from Tuesday to Thursday next week (Januaary 7 to 9). It has been organized by the Midlands Branch of the Institute of the Furniture Warehousing and Removing Industry and the venue is Knuston Hall, Irchester, Wellingborough, Northants.
Subjects included in the syllabus are warehouse and removal practice, avoidance of lifting injuries, vehicle maintenance. motorway driving, packing and loading, contract conditions and customer relations.
The fee is .£4 residential, or £2 5s. nonresidential, and further information can be obtained from Mr. A. K. Thomas, cio J. J. Edwards (Hinckley) Ltd., Regent Street. Hinckley.
