Ma. H. J. HoLmEs, who, as reported in"The Commercial Motor" on September 6, 1946, has returned to the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd., from his wartime' post as Director of Tyres to the Ministry of Supply, has been appointed

regional manager for the West of England. His headquarters are at Bristol.

MR. A. WILLIAMS, M.I.A.E., has been appointed general manager of Trojan, Ltd. He has been works manager at the Kingston factory of Leyland Motors, Ltd., and assistant general manager at Leyland. Mr. -Williams was for seven years honorary secretary of the western centre of the Institution of Automobile Engineers.

MR. D. DERHAM has been elected chairman of the East Midland area of the Road Haulage Association. He has been chairman of the Derbyshire Sub-area since its inauguration in 1945. Mr. Derham is a member of the Association's national council and executive committee. The chairman of the Nottingham Sub-area, MR. J. T. Puma., has been elected chairman of the area public relations committee.
