Michael Latham has become sales manager with the British Road Services Group, responsible for co-ordinating the sales activities of the group's eight regional companies, and will be based at BRS Group head office at Northway House, Whetstone. He recently spent 18 months as branch manager of BRS Leicester.

Alex Sim, formerly assistant manager of the Christian Salvesen (Transport) Ltd depot in Aberdeen, has become manager of the company's depot in Aylesford, Kent.

Rick Eichhorn has joined Edbro (London) Ltd as sales executive of the division responsible for the UK sales and service of the Danish-made HMF range of hydraulic lorry loaders.

David Stephens has been appointed export sales director and associate company director of Hestair Dennis Ltd, and Harold Enefer becomes UK sales and service director, joining Mr Stephens as an associate director. Roger Heard has taken over as municipal sales manager from Roland Hutchings, who has left the company to manage his own business.

The newly-created position of Hull manager with North Sea Ferries Ltd has been filled by William McCarthy, who joined the company in 1966. He was previously hotel services superintendent and is succeeded by Arthur Hallas.

Rejoining the Yeates Group of Companies as area manager is Harry Kell, who will be operating from the group's new premises in Salisbury under the general managership of Ernie Waterman.

New plant manager of the Bolton bodybuilding works of Crane Fruehauf Rigids Ltd is William Cunliffe.

Joining Vanderyell Products Ltd, a GKN Group company, as press and publicity officer is Jon Simpson, who was previously a press officer with Leyland Cars.

G. S. Inglis has become deputy managing director of Johnson Machinery Ltd.

Following the recent major re-structuring of the Reliant Motor Company Ltd board, Barrie Wills has resigned as assistant managing director.

Roger Oldham has become manager. national accounts with the Cummins Engine Company Ltd. He was previously southern area sales manager.

Denis Pearce has been appointed EEC market development manager and specialist director by Illinois Tool Works Inc. the US-based multi-national company, which has extensive interests in the UK. Mr Pearce was previously general manager, marketing for Fastex.

Peter Quick has become managing director of SelfChanging Gears Ltd, one of the companies in the Leyland Special Products Group.

New marketing director with Cooks (Road Transport Engineers) Ltd is Alan Day, who worked for the company some years ago and will have overall responsibility for UK marketing.

H. D. Kettle has become a director of Wilmot Breeden Group Services Ltd. Formerly a director of Wilmot Breeden Ltd, he will continue to be responsible for group personnel. B. V. Moore becomes group financial controller in place of J. E. Parkinson, who is now financial director of Wilmot Breeden Electronics Ltd.

John Rowe becomes truck sales manager of the Highbury Corner Motor Company Ltd, London, N17, on February 1.

New fleet sales manager with Kysor Industrial (GB) Ltd is Gerry Salies, who was sales director for Norde Suspensions before joining Kysor.
