Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A N effective and economical method

of heating garages and workshops is provided by a fully portable combustion-type space heater produced by Kays (Derby), Ltd., Derby. A standard combustion heater made by S. Smith and Sons (England), Ltd., is mounted in a mobile pack which can be easily moved to the most effective position in the room.

At its maximum output the unit gives a temperature rise of 120 F. to 375 Cu. ft. of air per minute, at a cost of about 6d. per hour.

The heater operates on oil fuel, paraffin and similar burning oils which are not taxed. The combustion chamber is arranged so that the exhaust gases arc completely separate from the hot-airsupply, Special arrangements in the combustion chamber ensure that the exhaust gases are entirely non-toxic. The pressure of the air being heated is higher than that of the air in the combustion chamber. Leakage can, therefore, take place only into, and not out of, the combustion space.

The price of the complete unit is £155 without a silencer. It is only when the heater is used in places where complete absence of noise is essential (such as some offices) that the silencer is necessary.
