• Back-Eye, from CCTV specialist DSP, is an in-cab rear viewing system designed to improve rear vision for all vehicles where the driver's rearward view is obstructed.
The system can assist with compliance with the Provision & Use of Work Equipment Health and Safety Regulations 1992, which from 1 January this year became enforceable at sites established before this legislation.
A 384-line black-and-white camera with a 2.1mm wideangle lens mounts on the rear of the vehicle in a special "ruggedised" (1P66-rated) die-cost aluminium case using a heavy duty bracket.
