• The Northern LA, Mr. C. R. Hodgson, has removed 13 vehicles and three trailers from the licences of the Liverpool branch of the Red House Garage Co. Ltd.. following a 5.177 inquiry on July 31 (CM August 8).
At the public inquiry in July a traffic examiner had shown that from early 1963 until December 1968 only five out of eight vehicles on the company's Contract A licence and only one of 12 vehicles on an open A licence had been used.
In his decision the LA has removed three vehicles and two trailers from the Contract A licence and 10 vehicles and one trailer from the open A licence.
