NATIONAL TRAVEL'S first regular service to Athens leaves Victoria coach station at 21.00 today. The coach will travel a 2,000-mile route via Dover, Ostend, Brussels, Cologne, Frankfurt, Munich, Belgrade and Thessalonika. Overnight stops are made at Munich, Maribor and Skopje and the return fare of £89.60 includes the cost of hotel accommodation.
The launch of the Athens service follows National Travel's first European venture last year when a service to Frankfurt was operated during the summer.
