Ltd., at Dumfries has been acquired by Thermotank Ltd., the Govan, Glasgow, firm of sheet-metal fabricators and air-conditioning engineers. Holmes-Alexander will no longer make road tankers and the plant at Heath hall Works has been transferred to Thermotank's factory in Helen Street, Glasgow.
A special division known as Thermotank Technical Services Division has been formed to liaise with contractors and tanker operators.
