THE international Road Transport Union, meeting in Hamburg, has decided to make a new approach to European governments and government organizations urging a maximum total weight for " road-trains " (motor-vehicleplus-trailer units) of 40 metric tons and to ask governments concerned to allow the duty-free import of fuel as carried in normal road vehicles' fuel tanks, whenever this is not already the case.
