Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A Brief Description of the Type of Vehicle to be Used in Large Numbers in the German Capital.

THE Yellow Cab is extending its sphere of operation, having crossed the Atlantic from the United States, its country of origin, and, after becoming established in London, is making its appeal to the inhabitants of Berlin among. other Continental cities.

Our illustration shows a cab which has been partially assembled in the London works of the Yellow Cab Manufacturing Co. of England, Ltd., in the execution of a contract for 100, which has been placed by a company who will operate the fleet in Berlin.

It will be seen that the vehicle is equipped with balloon tyres, and an interesting feature is the gold band, 3 ins. wide, which encircles the body from the windscreen on each side. This form of decoration is employed in order to comply with one of the regulations attaching te the external appearance of all taxicabs in Berlin.

The standard engine employed on the Yellow Cab chassis, having a cylinder bore of 3i ins., with a piston stroke of 5 ins., is used. It drives through a three-speed gearbox. The springs operate in rubber insulation blocks carried in boxes which house the ends of the springs.

The front view of the vehicle will show clearly the spotlight attached to the windscreen on the driving or off side (the rule of the road in Germany being to-drive to the right)..
