RENAULT HAS launched an iPhone App to help drivers keep a record of their driving hours. The Time Book software is designed to do away with notebooks often used by drivers to keep a record of their hours, without having to refer to the tachograph.
Users press one of four icons on the screen to indicate whether they are driving, on a short or long break, or currently available. The app then times the length of these activities, and in the case of driving will alert the driver when maximum hours are being reached.
Time Book is free to download, and will also create an activity report which can then be emailed.
