school—which is open to non-members—will be held at Queen's College, Cambridge, from August 14-21 this year. The programme includes principles of management, sales, workshop management, financial control and law. Fees are 18 go. for members, 20 gn. for non-members.

Belgian Diesel-electric Bus IT is reported that the Belgian company I Ateliers de Constructions Electrique tIc Charleroi has developed a diesel-electric bus, for which the name " Electrobus " has been coined. The design is for 90 passengers, and the power train consists of a diesel engine in unit with an a.c. generator, whence the current passes through a rectifier incorporating a speed control into d.c. electric motors which drive the rear wheels through reduction gearing. Regenerative braking is incorporated, and the bus has air suspension.
