SERVICE CUTS REFUSED

AN attempt by Llandudno and Colwyn Bay Electric Railway, Ltd., to persuade the North-Western Traffic Commissioners to reduce the frequency of winter services operated by Crosville Motor Services, Ltd., between Llandudno and Colwyn Bay, has failed. The Commissioners have refused to agree.

The Electric Railway also sought to reintroduce the Suez emergency cuts in their winter timetable for the route. The Commissioners will now give them an opportunity to reconsider the application and say what action they wish to be taken on it.

The hearing, during which bitter allegations were made against Crosville, was reported in The Commercial Motor on December 13 and January 24.
