II An improved type of outer hub cap is low being fitted as standard on York :miler axles, including those supplied by York Technical Services Ltd, Market Harborough, to manufacturers other than he York Trailer Co Ltd.
Instead of the plastic moulding previously used, a stronger all-aluminium cap s fitted. The push fit is replaced by a )ositive six-bolt fixing and the new cap is )uilt to withstand the weight of drivers zsing it as a step. It cannot be easily renoved by pilferers or damaged by vandals, md will not be blown off by over-zealous ubrication of the hubs.
