appointed to the board of Crane Fruehauf Trailers Ltd. and its wholly owned subsidiary, Crane Fruehauf Trailers (North Walsham) Ltd. Mr. Day, who is 35, is general manager of Crane Fruehauf's North Walsham factory. He joined Cranes (Dereham) Ltd. as a draughtsman in 1954 and was made works manager of the North Walsham factory in 1963 and general manager in March this year. He will continue in this position. Mr. Tantlinger is executive vice-president, engineering and research, of Fruehauf Corporation and has been closely associated with the development of the North Walsham factory. He joined Fruehauf in 1958 as vice-president in charge of engineering after 21 years as vice-president, engineering and research, with Waterman and Pan Atlantic Steamship companies. During this time he was responsible for the development of Pan-Atlantic's container system, now known as "Sea-Land".
