Acquired 23 Undertakings During November
A LEEDS concern of body-repair in• and maintenance specialists and two storage undertakings are included among 23 companies which were acquired by the Road Transport Executive during November. The body repairer is the Central Coach Works (Leeds), Ltd., Chadwick Street, Leeds. The storage concerns are the Manchester Storage and Transport Co., Ltd., 63. Corporation Street, Manchester, 4, and France and Brook (Storage), Ltd., Slaithwaite, near Huddersfield.
Six of the newly acquired undertakings are primary or holding companies. They are: S. Green and Sons, Ltd., Tyburn Road, Erdington, Birmingham; A. .1 . Gupwell (Transport), Ltd., Well Lane, Allison Street, Birmingham, 5; McNamara and Co. (B.T.C.), Ltd., 3, Bonhill Street, London, E.C.2; Joseph Nall and Co., Ltd„ 63, Corporation Street, Manchester, 4; Onward Road
Transport, Ltd., Holmes Lane, Selby, Yorks; and 'Young's Express Deliveries, Ltd., 124, Portman Street, Glasgow.
