OBITUARIES

We record with regret the deaths of Charles Leslie Ancell and Thomas Hanson Stephenson. Mr Ancell, 66, started a haulage business in Cumnock, Ayrshire. after the Second World War.

Mr Stephenson, 72. served Plaxtons (Scarborough) Ltd for 55 years. many of them as managing director.
