Duple Coachbuilders Ltd. Mr Schofield will be responsible for fleet sales to the National Bus Company, the Passenger Transport Executives. the Scottish Bus Group. municipalities and exports. Previously a director of one of the North group of companies, Mr Schofield joined Duple Coachbuilders two years ago as north-west sales manager.
J. B. Emmott succeeds W. Emmott as chairman of Automotive Products Ltd. Mr W. Emmott remains as a member of the AP board. J. T. Panks succeeds Mr J. B. Emmott as deputy chairman and will continue as md and chief executive.
Allan Dearing moves to road transport manager with British and Irish Shipping Line Co Ltd at Liverpool freight terminal. He was formerly traffic supervisor, and served on the staff of Coast Lines Co Ltd, Belfast and Liverpool.

OBITUARIES
We record with regret the deaths of Charles Leslie Ancell and Thomas Hanson Stephenson. Mr Ancell, 66, started a haulage business in Cumnock, Ayrshire. after the Second World War.
Mr Stephenson, 72. served Plaxtons (Scarborough) Ltd for 55 years. many of them as managing director.
