Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I HAVE JUST seen your issue of October 2 and would be grateful if you would note that the equipment described in a caption as a Clark Mini Skip is actually a Powell Duffryn MiniMeiller. (Shepherd Equipment became part of the Powell Duffryn Group in 1972.) Your readers may also have been given the impression that the Mini-Meiller can only be used on a Fiat 79-10. In fact it is suitable for any flat bed or chassis-cab vehicle of appropriate gvw rating. Most operators have so far chosen the Ford Transit or A-Series, Dodge 50, or Leyland Terrier, but we are able to install Mini-Meiller equipment on virtually any new or used vehicle the customer cares to name.

This is particularly easy when the customer chooses demountable equipment as this version is powered by an integral electric-start petrol engine which makes operation independent of a belt-driven hydraulic pump or power take off.

IAN TURNER Powell Duffryn Engineering, Pont yclun, Mid-Glam.
