A NEW EXPERIMENTAL lane is to be opened on the A radial route in Leeds. It speed up the journey times. proposed bus lane will opei between 4pm and 6.30pm help bus users on th homeward journey.
An existing bus lane betw the outer ring road and Si Lane junction already ass bus passengers in the morr and the chance of more flex traffic signal timings may prove those journeys.
Community benefits £32,000 will come to passenc from the, bus lane, while VI Yorkshire PTE expects to ga further 41,500 passenger jr neys per year from the more tractive service, which shc yield about £9,500 extra a year.
