Dennis Rivers has been appointed the manager of the Newington Butts branch of Southern British Road Services; it handles contract hire, distribution and warehousing. For the past 34 years Mr Rivers has been assistant branch manager.

W. Todd is National Carriers' "Top Driver I975"—he carried off the honours at the finals held in NCL's depot in Lawley Street, Birmingham last week. More than 3,000 employees and their families saw the event which brought together winners from seven eliminating competitions. Class winners were Mr Todd and K. Richards, Peterborough; B. H. Wragg, Nottingham; and D. K. Sampson, Barnstaple.
