1914-18 VEHICLES IN RALLY •

ENTRIES to the rally and concours d'elegance of the Historic Commercial Vehicle Club, to be held at Spurner Works, Leyland, on Sunday, will include two lorries used during the J91418 war, a 31-year-old bus, just taken out of service in the Channel Islands, and vehicles from Leyland's own collection and from the Montagu Motor Museum at Beaulieu. Entrants are coming from places as far apart as Exeter, Portsmouth, Gloucester, Hull and Londen.

WORKOBUS ON THAMES CHASSIS

THE Workobus 12-seater conversion made by Martin Walter, Ltd., Cheriton Road, Folkestone, is now. available on the Thames 15-cwt. chassis. There is a hinged side door as well as those at the front and rear, and an opening ventilation panel in the roof. The woodslatted seats, with padding at shoulder level, are arranged longitudinally.

The conversion costs £80, making the total price of the vehicle £616 10s. It is free of purchase tax. The opening roof costs £16 10s. extra as an optional fitting.
